AID FOR GREEKS
CORINTH ’QUAKE DISTRESS Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. A meeting of Greek residents in Wellington was held yesterday with the object of forming a fund to assist sufferers by the recent disastrous earthquake in Corinth, which rendered thousands homeless and destitute. Mr. J. F. Dyer, Dominion Consul for 1 I the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Athens, and the Greek Minister in London. A resolution of sincere sympathy was passed, stating that in proof a sum of money be whacrlbod, which Mr. Dyer requested be forwarded to the sufferers. A large amount was collected in the hall, and the subscriptions will be received by the consul from Greeks in other parts of the Dominion.
