H.M.A.S. AUSTRALIA SAILS
FLAGSHIP OF SQUADRON British Official Wireless. Reed. 11.53 a.m. RUGBY, Saturday. H.M.A.S. Australia, the flagship of Rear-Admiral G. F. Hyde, commanding the Australian Squadron, left Portsmouth yesterday for Montreal, on her homeward voyage. Admiral Sir Osmond de Brock, Com-mander-in-Chief at Portsmouth, in a farewell message to the admiral, officers and ship’s company of the Australia, wished them a pleasant voyage home, and said he was glad to see they were maintaining the high reputation of the old Australia, which did such * ;ood service in the late war.
