ISLAND TRIPPERS KNOW HIM WELL. —Captain D. McDonald, master of the Tofua, is a modest man. He did not consider that he had done anything in resetting the men who were marooned on Flat Rock on July 14th. It will be remembered that the men were seen as the Tofua steamed past on her way to the Islands, and that Captain McDonald took them off and brought them back to Auckland.
