SHOPKEEPER ROBBED
MONEY TAKEN FROM TILL POLICE MAKE ARREST (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The'premises of T. R. Mounsey, butcher, of Pirongia, were broken into on Saturday evening while the shopkeeper was at tea, and £l2 in cash was removed from the till. Entry was effected by smashing a panel of the back door and opening the lock. The same night the Te Awamutu police arrested Jim Davis, a storeman, who is stated to have several aliases. He was charged with breaking and entering and theft, and was remanded.
