ELECTRIC-POWER ON TWO COASTS WAITEMATA BOARD’S WORK Service lines are being extended rapidly in the district controlled by the Waitemata Electric-Power Board, said the report of Mr. F. J. H. Wil son, resident engineer, at this morning’s meeting. The 11,000-volt line to Oratia has been made alive, and supply is now available along the west coast road. A gang is now centred at Helensville and is engaged on new service connections in the Parkhurst and the Kaukapakapa districts. In the North Shore area, an 11,000volt line to the east coast bays has been livened up and supply is available at Deep Creek. Newly arrived poles will hasten the completion of work at brown's Bay.
