To prevent skin forming on top of boiled custard, stand the jug containing it in cold water and keep stirr* till cool. The cream is absorbed instead of being wasted in skin. Fill stained glass vases with a mixture of vinegar and salt, leave for a time, shake well, empty and wash as usual. The same mixture can be used several times.
