ADELPHI, GREY LYNN
DOROTHY GISH IN “LONDON” What happens when a girl of the London slums is suddenly transported to beautiful Mayfair and a life of ease? No longer need she wonder where the next meal is coming from; whether there’ll be a bed to sleep in; or if she’ll have any clothes to wear on the morrow. Instead, she finds herself in a. land where fashionable restaurants and night clubs are “all the rage.” Such is the story of “London,” starring Dorothy Gish, which will be shown at the Adelphi Theatre, Grey Lynn, this evening. “Shootin’ Irons,” an exciting story, starring Jack Luten, is the second feature.
