THROWN UNDER BUS
MAN BADLY HURT COLLISION AT PETONE Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. A broken ankle, shock, and bruises and cuts on the head and legs were suffered by J. C. Cowlisliaw. of Wadestown, when he collided with a motorcar and was thrown under a motorbus near the Petone railway crossing last night. He had a miraculous escape from death. A stack of timber fell on M Briggs at Odlin’s Petone timber yards this morning, and fractured his left thigh and left arm. He was taken to hosjjital.
