BURGLARY CHARGES FAIL
CASE AT PUKEKOHE (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Thursday. Charges of breaking, entering and stealing from two shops at Pukekohe were preferred against Richard Edward Walker in the Police Court before Alessrs. D. R. Hamilton and A. P. Daysli, J.P.’s, to-day. After evidence had been given of the two shops being broken into, and of goods, similar to those stolen, having been found in accused’s possession, Mr. F. A. Hosking submitted that there wos no direct evidence to connect accused with the crimes, and the charges were dismissed.
