HARDING SHIELD
WHANGAREI RUGBY SIDE (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANG ARE I,* To-day. After a final game in the afternoon and scrum practice last night, the sole selector (Mr. W. Tucker) announced the Whangarei rep. team to play Northern Wairoa for the Harding Shield at Dargaville on Saturday as follows: Fullback, G. Kerr: threequarters, Sligo, J. Britland and A. Waterman: five-eighths, Ryan, G. Smith; half. Shortland; forwards, N. Clotworthy, G. Dent, Underwood. C. Childs, T. O'Shea, Sherriff, M. Morrissey and E. Aim (rover). Emergencies: Cunningham. J. McKenzie, J. Webber, W. Fletcher.
