DEFICIT IN FUNDS

ST. DAVID’S CHURCH For the first time in many years there has be* n a deficit in the year s working in the St. David's Presbyterian Church funds. This was reported at the annual congregational meeting last evening. A sum of £795 had gone to missionand assembly funds. This was £134 greater than last year's amount and £ 200 above the presbytery’s assessment. Dr. A. L-slie Sutherland, of the Punjab, India, has been appointed as the missionary to be supported as the congregation’s special representative in foreign activities.
