USE OF NELSON SYSTEM •(From Our Own Correspondent) PUKEIvOHE, To-day. Parents of pupils attending the Pukekohe primary school were recently asked to vote as to whether they were in favour of the introduction of the Nelson system of Bible-reading in the schools. Of the ballot papers circulated only 60 per cent. was returned. and nine-tenths of this number replied in tlie affirmative. Application is now to be made to the Auckland Education Board for permission to institute the system. ADOPTION IN HAMILTON , (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. The Nelson sj'stem of Bible instruction in schools has been adopted by every public school in the Hamilton district. Arrangements to take Bible lessons are being made by the Hamilton Ministers’ Association.
