MR. E. B. C. CORSER DEAD

FEDERAL PARLIAMENTARIAN (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) BRISBANE, Tuesday. The death is announced of Mr. E. B. C. Corser, member of the Federal House of Representatives for Wide Bay, in his 76th year. The late Mr. Edward Bernard C. Corser, was born at Upton Cresset, near Birmingham, England, in 1852. He went to Australia in 1866. He was governing director of Corser and Company, Limited, of Maryborough, Queensland, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce in that town for more than 40 years. He was a member of the State Legislative Assembly, 1909-15, since when he had represented Wide Bay in the Federal House of Representatives. Mr. Corser is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Mary Brown, and two sons.
