MAIL-SORTER’S CRIME
THEFT AFTER 20 YEARS Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Daniel Darwin Coyle, aged 41, a letter sorter in the Post Office, pleaded guilty at the Magistrate’s Court to-day to the theft of three letters containing in all £4 ss. Accused bud been employed as a sorter for tile past 20 years. He attributed his lapse to a severe illness, with its attendant financial obligations. . _ , The magistrate, Mr. E. Page, said b.e would consider the case, and remanded accused until Friday for sentence.
