DELEGATES DEPART ON LINER AORANGI
PARLIAMENTARY PARTY' PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE The liner Aorangi was given a hearty farewell as she swung out from the Queen’s Wharf yesterday. On board her were members of the New Zealand Parliamentary Party, which will visit Canada at the invitation of the sister nominion. The New Zealanders were headed by the Hon. \V. Nosworthy, the PostmasterGeneral. The Hon. J. B. Gow, Af.L-C., represented the Legislative Council. The Lower House was represented by Air. T. W. Rhodes (Thames) and Mr. W. J. Jordan (Alanukau). In addition, the liner was Joined by the New Zealand delegation to the Pan-Pacific Conference at Honolulu. The party, in all, numbered 18. Those travelling were: Mrs. C. A. Fraer, J.P. (Christchurch), Mrs. T. E. Taylor, J.P. (Christchurch). Hr. Emily Siedeberg (Hunedin), Miss Emily Chaplin (Christchurch), Mrs. Henton Leech (Hunedin), Mrs. M. AI. Osborne (Auckland), Miss Nellie Outhin (Hunedin), Miss Alary Cole (New Plymouth), Aliss E. N. Wilson (Auckland), Aliss Mary Seaton (Wellington), Aliss Olive Mercer (Hunedin), Airs. I. Tiffin (Gisborne), Airs. G. H. Hixon (Wellington). Miss Balkley (Wellington), Mrs. H. G. Cole lOnehunga), Airs. Seatoun (Wellington), and Aliss Tiffin (Gisborne).
