ANOTHER BOUNCING BOY
V. McGahan, a South Australian jockey, sustained a broken collarbone when his mount, Redacre, crashed into a brush steeple at Strathalbyn (Adelaide) races last week. It was Redacre’s first jumping, race. McGahan has been riding in jumping races for only 13 months, but during that time he has had 54 falls. This is the first time he has suffered a broken bone.
