ROKKJER WILL RETIRE
r* ROKKJER, the Sydney trot- ' ting driver, says that he will probably retire from active participation in the light harness sport. For this reason he will not lodge an appeal against his recent disqualification of 12 months, imposed in connection with the running of Donis Huon at Epping. Rokkjer has a team of 12 horses in hand, and these will be returned to owners or placed in charge of other trotting drivers, as determined by the various owners. At the time of his disqualification Rokkjer did not have a horse racing in his own name.
