THIRTY KILLED
DISASTER IN POLAND CHEMICALS EXPLODE (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) WARSAW, Monday. A message from Lodz, Poland, says 30 people were killed in a fire caused by an explosion in a chemical warehouse. Three hundred other persons were injured. The explosion occurred through one of the benzine tanks in the warehouse being set on fire. Widespread havoc was caused, and there was a panic.
