The notorious evangelist, Mrs. Aimee Semple McPherson, suddenly terminated a camp meeting in the Nevada Mountains in order that she might return here and deny her mother’s latest accusations. The mother, Mrs. Kennedy, claims that she tried in vai nto terminate the frindship of the evangelist for Kenneth Ormiston, the . radio operator of the Angelus Temple, Los Angeles. She also says she was frantic about reports that Aimee and Ormiston were touring Europe together. Mrs. Kennedy says she found her daughter mentally and physically changed after her European tour. On receiving a complaint from Ormiston’s wife, Mrs. Kennedy cabled to Aimee and then started to search for Ormiston, in a vain attempt to hush the tongue of scandal. Mrs. McPherson now announces that she is planning an evangelistic tour of the cities of Britain.
