Be Cautious Be Courteous
The' presence of winter, bringing its slippery and muddy roads and its difficult conditions of driving, requires more than ever the exercise of road courtesy. The observance of courtsey on every occasion will go a long way towards smoothing the difficult Do you live up to the following description: “A courteous driver is he who stops to let children cross the street. He drives cautiously through crowded areas. He keeps the proper lane in traffic and gives the right of way to vehicles moving more rapidly. He drives quietly past hospitals. “He parks so as not to obstruct his neighbour’s driveway. He believes the pedestrian has some rights, and drives so as to illustrate that belief. He behaves on .the street as he would in his own home before guests.”
