COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea, which leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier, returns here next Sunday. The Kaponga, which has been fixed to load at Dunedin, arrives there 5 p.m. today and leaves' noon on Thursday for Lyttelton, where she completes for Auckland. She is due here about the middle of next week. The Waipiata, from Dunedin and Oamaru, leaves Timaru at 10 o’clock this evening via Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. She is due here on Sunday. The Wingatui loads at Auckland and sails on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kaimanawa is to load at Westport on Thursday for Auckland and should arrive here early next week.
The Balls Head is expected to arrive at Auckland to-night from Greymouth and, after discharge, returns to the coal port to load again for this port. The Katoa loads at Bluff toward the end of this week, thence Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Gunbais is expected at Auckland toward the end of this week and sails on Monday on her return trip to East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Kinross should clear Auckland tonight for Wellington, New Plymouth and Australian ports to complete her discharge of Texas cargo. The Borderer arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington and sails on Thursday for Dunedin, where she completes the discharge of her New York cargo. The Port Bowen should leave Napier to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to land the balance of her New York cargo. The Huntingdon sails from Wellington on Thursday for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo. The Taniwha, sailing at half-past nine this evening for Paeroa, returns again at three o’clock on Thursday morning. The Waiotahi leaves at half-past seven this evening for Whangarei. She ig due back again at half-past three on Thursday morning. The Otimai was to be dispatched at noon to-day for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Motu sails early this afternoon for Whakatane. The Omana, due at Auckland at ten o’clock this evening from Waiwera Mahurangi and Warkworth, sails again" at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Waiheke. The Rangitoto, due at half-past nine this evening from Thames, sails again at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon for the same’port. The Kawau is due at Auckland at halfpast two to-morrow morning from Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. At 10 a.m. the same day she leaves for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha.
The Ngapuhi is due at Auckland at half-past seven to-morrow morning from Tauranga. She sails again for the same port at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday. The Apanui arrives at half-past five to-morrow morning from Mercury Bay and Tairua. She sails at midnight the same night for the Great Barrier. The Pono sails at noon on Thursday for Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Tuhoe is expected to arrive at Auckland on Thursday morning from Awanui, via Poi\\nd. The Daphne, due at 10.15 p.m. to-day from Coromandel and Colville, sails again at 10.30 p.m. to-morrow for Kopu and Turua. The Tiroa was to he dispatched from Auckland early this afternoon for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Awajxbu, at present loading at Queen’s Wharf, is to be dispatched at five o’clock this evening for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne.
