POST-BOX RIFLED

HINGES PRISED OFF A post office box at the corner of Arabi Street and Balmoral Road was broken open last evening. Early this morning the postman who was on his rounds to collect the mail from the suburban boxes found that the hinges of the box had been prised off. Several letters were found lying in the* box, but not so many as are usually collected from it on other nights . It is impossible for the officials to trace whether any letters are missing until the senders make some notification.
