TUDOR, REMUERA

“BRINGING UP FATHER”

“The Way of All Flesh,” Emil Jan ning’s great dramatic picture, will b shown this evening at the Tudo Theatre, Kemuera. It tells of a bank cashier who live

a quiet, ordered life with his wife and children. At home he is surprised to get a message from the bank. He is told by the officials that ho must leave to sell some bonds in Chicago, a place he lias never been to since his honeymoon. His daily routine will bt upset, but he must go, and so, on board the train, we find him fussing with his seat, to the amusement of a peroxided blonde, who finds added amusement in his woollen socks and elastic boots. She is a little peeved at his intrusion, and he is not overwhelmed at seeing her opposite. However, her interest increases when, looking- for his ticket, she sees the wallet with the bonds. “Bringing Up Father,” an enjoyable comedy with Polly Moran and Farrell McDonald, will also be shown.
