Victorious English League Team Arrives at Auckland on Monday

Fresli from its triumphs in Australia, where it won “The Ashes,” the English League team will arrive at Auckland by the Aorangi on Monday. It will play nine matches in New Zealand, including tests at Auckland, Dunedin and Christchurch, and will leave on the return journey to England on September I, from Auckland. The last English League team to visit New Zealand was the 1924 team, which brought “The Ashes” of Australian League to New Zealand, only to lose them to the wearers of the Kiwi and Silver Fern. Will history repeat itself this time ?
