Plane Wreckage Found in Sea, and Thought to be Nungesser’s
(United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (United Service) Received, noon. COPENHAGEN, Wednesday. AIRPLANE wreckage, believed to be that of the machine in which Captain Nungesser, the French war ace, and Lieutenant Coli attempted a flight from France to America early last year, has been found in the vicinity of the west coast of Denmark. The French Legation will dispatch it to Paris. In the event of its being found to be Nuugesser's, tindiscovery will bear out the belief that he did not fly far. Experts believe that the wreckage was caught in the North Atlantic drift, which skirts the Irish, Scottish, and Danish Coasts.
