DISPOSAL OF SKINS BROKER FINED £3O Press Association INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. The question of the disposal of opossum skins by poachers arose in the Police Court this morning, before Mr G. Cruickshank, S.M., when Francis Thomas Vernon, of Kingsland, a licensed broker, was charged that he tailed on receiving 177 opossum skins from Thomas Jackson Smith, to make entries in a register kept for that purpose of the correct name, address and occupation of the person from whom the skins were obtained.
