NEXT MATCH AUGUST 25 N.Z. COUNCIL’S DECISION (Special to 1 'HE SUN) HAMILTON, FridayAfter considerable confusion and rearrangements of dates for the Brown Shield challenge issued by the North Auckland Association, it has now been definitely decided by the New Zealand Council that the North Auckland team will meet the holders, South Auckland, here on August 25. Owing to the misunderstanding the Northlanders had compfeted arrangements to travel here for a match on Saturday next, but these have all been cancelled and the new fixture now stands. SATURDAY’S CLUB MATCHES Y.M.C.A. PLAYS PONSONBY In consequence of Y.M.C.A. not travelling to Whangarei for the Chatham Cup contest on Saturday senior fixtures in Auckland will be as follow: Xorthcote v. North Shore, Northcote, 3 p.m., Mr. L. J. Check; Y’.M.C.A. v. Ponsonby, Blandford Park, 3 p.m., Mr. Y\. I-I. Parfitt; Tramways v. Onohunga, Oneliunga, 3 p.m., Mr. T, Harding. Belmont, a bye.
