A BUSH TRAGEDY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.30 a.m. ADELAIDE, To-day. Johann Thiele, who was convicted of wife murder, has been sentenced to death.

A bush tragedy with mysterious features occurred in May at Callington, 50 miles south-east of Adelaide. Mrs. Friedrich Thiele, aged 35, was found dead with a portion of her head blown away, but there was no gun near her body. Her husband, a farmer, was absent when the discovery was made by a farm labourer. A black-tracker trailed him down.
