CAPTAIN OF WRECKED SCHOONER BURIED
FUNERAL AT WAIKUMETE The funeral of the late Captain Arthur Berridge, of the schooner Isabella de Fraine, took place at the Waikumete cemetery yesterday afternoon. About 30 cars followed the coffin, and many master mariners and friends of his family were present. A great number of wreaths were sent by shipping companies and mariners in the city, and by sports clubs and associations to which Captain Berridge’s son, Mr. Arnold Berridge, belonged. * The service at the graveside was read by the Rev. A. J. Greenwood, vicar of St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Domninion Road.
