ST. PETER’S CHURCH

ANNUAL MEETING HELD The membership of St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Grey Lynn, has reached the record figure of 264. The average attendance at communion is 181. This was reported to the annual meeting by the session clerk, Mr. A. Moir. The Rev. Thomas Halliday presided. Reports were presented by the superintendents of the Sunday School, the various Bible classes, and the Women’s Missionary Union. The gross receipts for the year were over £6OO, which was considered satisfactory in view of the present state of depression. Appreciation was expressed by the session that the minister had been appointed for a term as moderator of the Auckland Presbytery.
