WAIPAHI SAILS TO-MORROW. To load again for Auckland, the local office of the Union Company hopes to dispatch the fruit steamer Waipahi from here at 3 o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Rarotonga, Aitutaki and Mangaia.

KAIWARRA RESUMING. The local office of: the' Union Company advises that the collier Kaiwarra was docked this morning to have her hull cleaned and painted. She undocks to-morrow and sails the same day for Newcastle, where she will load for Bluff.

WAIHEMO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— Due at Auckland on August 7 from the Pacific Coast, the Union Company’s steamer Waihemo later proceeds to Napier, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete her discharge of inward cargo.

NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara leaves Vancouver to-morrow, via ports, for Auckland and Sydney. She is expected to arrive here on August 13. MAUI POMARE SAlLS.—Shortly after 11 o’clock last evening the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare left Auckland for Norfolk Island. The vessel is due back here on July 30, and is scheduled to sail the same day for Apia, Samoa and Niue Island.

KINROSS REPORTED. Spedding, Limited, have been advised by cable that the steamer Kinross, en route from Port Arthur, Texas, with.case oil for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth and Australian ports, is expected to arrive here oh July 30.

SCALARIA REPORTS. To put out 1,000 tons of bulk oil from San Francisco, the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company’s tanker Scalaria has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland at daybreak to-marrow from the Pacific Coast, via Wellington.

ELVERIC TO-MORROW. To discharge a cargo of raw sugar from Java, the Weir Line steamer Elveric is expected to arrive at Auckland at midnight to-morrow. On Thursday morning she will berth at Chelsea to unload to the agency of Messrs. Robert Millar and Company.

SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Ulimaroa was due at Wellington this morning from Sydney, and the Marama from Auckland, and. the Maheno from Wellington, were both due at Sydney this morning. The Ulimaroa leaves Wellington at 11 a.m. on Friday for Sydney, and the Maheno and the Marama both leave Sydney the same day, the Maheno for Auckland and the Marama for Wellington.

PORT NAPIER LEAVES LONDON. — Cable advice has been received by the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company that the C. and D. Line's steamer Port Napier left London on July 21 with cargo for discharge at Suva, Auckland, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is expected to arrive here on September 3.

NEW C. AND D. LINERS.—The C. and D. Line have been advised that their new motor-ships, the Port Fairy and the Port Alma, have both been fixed to load at .London for Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, and Launceston. The former vessel leaves London on October 23 and the latter on December IS. In all probability both these vessels will come to New Zealand for the wool season. MAHANA'S LOADING PROGRAMME. —A. S. Paterson and Company advises that the Shaw, Savili- and Albion steamer Maliana, which is due at Auckland on July 31 from London, will on the completion of her discharge at ‘Wellington, proceed to Lyttelton to commence her Homeward loading. She will subsequent! y fill up at Timaru, Wellington, Napier, Waikokopu and Auckland. The vessel is due back here on August 31, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on September t> for London, via the Cape Horn. PORT BOWEN ARRIVES.—An arrival in the stream at Auckland shortly after 8 o’clock this morning was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer. Port Bowen (Captain Hearn) from New York. The vessel sailed from New York on June 25 and experienced fair weather for the run down to Panama. After clearing Balboa, good steaming conditions prevailed till about a week ago. Northerly gales delayed the vessel’s progress, and for the last two days especially she was buffetted by the -wind and heavy seas. The Port Bowen has 2,000 tons of case oil and general goods cargo for discharge at Queen’s Wharf, where she berthed at 9 o’clock this morning.

Messrs. Heather, Roberton and Company, Limited, the local agents, advise that the Port Bowen is to be dispatched from Auckland on Thursday or Friday next for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. After completing discharge at Southern ports the vessel will commence •loading for Home, returning to Auckland on September 3 to complete for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool.

OMANA SAILS TO-DAV. —To complete the discharge of her cargo of coal from Newcastle, and hardwood poles from Port Stephens, the Lamb steamer Omana is to be dispatched from Auckland at three o'clock this afternoon.

CANOPUS FOR AUCKLAND. —With a cargo of coal for discharge at Auckland. ; the Westport Coal Company's collier ■ Canopus sailed from Westport at half- i past ivro vesterday afternoon. The ves- j sel is due' here on Thursday morning.

THE PRESIDENTE SARM IEN TO.— An unexpected arrival at Wellington this morning was the Argentine -Navigation Company’s steam tug, Presidente Sarmiento from Australia. She was built in ISS7, and is registered as 116 tons gross. CORINTHIC LEAVES HOME. —Cabled news has been reecived by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that their liner Corinthic, after loading at London, left Southampton on Friday afternoon for Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel is due at Wellington on August 2S. CARGO FOR BLUFF. —The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Westmoreland, which is to leave London on August 2 for Auckland and Wellington with geenral cargo, will now also discharge at Bluff. The vessel is due at Auckland on September 9. COPTIC LEAVES LIVERPOOL. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line's new motor-ship Coptic, on her maiden voyage, is reported to have cleared Liverpool last Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about August 25. KAITOKE FOR THE WAITOMO.-To the rescue of the Union Company's steamer Waitomo, which is drifting in the Tasman, 400 miles from Westport, the company’s collier Kaitoke was dispatched from Westport shortly after three o’clock this morning. The Waitomo was en route from Newcastle to Bluff with a cargo of coal. The Kaitoke was loading at Westport for Auckland. LIVERPOOL SAILINGS. —The C. and D. Line advises the following projected sailings from Liverpool for New Zealand : The Port Darwin leaves Liverpool on September 1 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Brisbane leaves Liverpool on December 22 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. CARGO FROM LONDON. —Bringing cargo from London, the C. and D. Line advises the following projected sailings for New Zealand:— The Port Dunedin leaves London on August S for Lyttelton. Dunedin. and Napier. The Port Bowen sails from London on October 10 for Wellington, Auckland, and New Plymouth. The Port Hobart leaves London on December 12 for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth. SAILINGS FROM NEW YORK. —The C. and D. Line advises the following projected sailings from New York for New Zealand:— The Port Hunter leaves on August 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Denison sails toward the end of October for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Napier leaves at the end of December for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. PORT HU ON TO LOAD. —On completion of her discharge at New Plymouth, the C. and D. Line’s motor-ship Port Huon will commence her loading at the Taranaki port, and subsequently fills up at Wanganui, Lyttelton, Wellington. Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. She is due here on August 20, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on August 23 for New York, Boston, and London, via Panama. The Farmers’ Cooperative Auctioneering Company will act as the local agents. PORT BOWEN’S LOADING ITINERARY.—Heather, Roberton, and Co. advise that on the completion of her discharge at Dunedin, the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen commences loading at Port Chalmers, and later fills up at Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The vessel is due back here on September 2, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on September 5 for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Panama. PAKEHA TO LOAD. Due at Auckland on July 31 from Liverpool, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha later proceeds to Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo. The vessel then commences loading at Port Chalmers, thence Bluff and other ports, and is due back here on September 14 to fill up for New York, Boston, London and West of England poi'ts. The Pakeha is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on September 18, via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Company will act as the local agents.

PORT OF ONEHUNGA—DEPARTURES YESTERDAY RARAWA (4.45 p.m.), 1,077 tons, Bark, for .New Plymouth. The Arapawa is due at Oneliunga tomorrow morning from Wanganui. She sails again at four o’clock the same afternoon for Raglan, Kawhia, and Port Waikato. The Rarawa, which sailed last evening for New Plymouth, is due back at Onehunga again to-morrow morning. The Toa is to be dispatched from Auckland at three o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Hokianga and Onehunga. to replace the Hauturu in the Onehunga trade, while the latter vessel undergoes annual overhaul and survey at Auckland.

The Anchor steamer Kaitoa is due at Onehunga on Thursday next from Picton, to load for Nelson and Motueka.
