FOR CHARITY

TO-MORROW’S COMMUNITY SING MR. H. GILLESPIE, LEADER The popularity of the community singing at the Strand Theatre during the luncheon hour is becoming more and more pronounced each Wednesday. Last week the theatre was packed half an hour before the advertised time of commencing, and another large attendance is expected to-morrow. The chairman to-morrow will be Mr. M. J. Bennett, and the song leader will be Mr. 11. E. Gillespie, a man of many parts, whose able leadership will ensure a spontaneous full-throated response from a packed “house.” The pianist will be Mrs. Osborne. The collection will be devoted to unendowed charity.
