GAMBLING AND DRINK
BANK MANAGER FOR SENTENCE Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day The information laid by the official assignee against James Douglas Adams, a retired bank manager, late of Levin, that his bankrupty was caused by gambling, drunkenness or unjustifiable extravagance, was heard at the Magistrate’s Court to-day.
Adams, who did not desire to be dealt with summarily. pleaded guilty and | was committed to the Supreme Court i for sentence.
