The director of music, Mr. W. J. Bellingham, will announce the tests, which will consist of the transmission of various vibration frequencies ranging from the lowest fundamental to the highest harmonic. The volume should remain the same in each case, and if the listener hears little or nothing he will realise his set cannot reproduce correctly those particular notes being broadcast. A description of the Jack Carroll — Harry Casey boxing match, will be broadcast from station 2YA this evening. The time has not been announced, but the fight is expected to begin at 9 o’clock.
