AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS rpHE preliminary bouts in the -T Auckland amateur championships will be held in the Town Hall this evening, commencing at 7 o'clock. The semi-finals and finals will be staged to-morrow eV The on both evenings should be well up to standard, as most of the best amateurs in Auckland, as well as the country districts, will be performing. t= ntries have been large, and some stirring contests should be seen in all classes.
