ROBBED OWN MOTHER

UNCONTROLLABLE BOY (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. Aboy who had robbed his mother of a considerable portion of some money that had been left her by her mother, was charged in the Children’s Court to-day with not being under proper control. The mother, who was deaf, did not give evidence, but her son-in-law stated that the boy was absolutely uncontrollable and had taken all but £35 of a sum of money that had been left his mother. The Court committed the boy, who had failed to appear, to the care of the State, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
