COMPETITION HINDERED PROGRESS (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. Creditors in the bankrupt estate of Frank Alfred Haines, confectioner, Frankton, met to-day. Bankrupt, who had five children, said his wife and one daughter ran the shop while he worked for the Borough Council. Competition made progress difficult. His liabilities were £157 6s lid, all due to unsecured creditors, and assets, including stock, fittings and furniture, estimated at £BO ss. The assignee, Mr. J. H. Robertson, said the valuation would produce about 2s in the £. Bankrupt was asked to prepare a statement. The stock will be sold at auction.
