MUNICIPAL CONCERT

TOWN HALL ON WEDNESDAY An exceedingly bright programme will bo presented at the Municipal Concert in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening next. The Municipal Band will play some charming numbers, principal among which will be excerpts from Felieien David’s symphonic ode, “The Desert,” music at once bright and full of character. Other items are “Mignon” overture, cornet duo “Ida and Dot,” by Messrs. Bowes and Morgan, descriptive intermezzo “From a Russian Village,” “The Blue Danube” waltz, xylophone solo “Tarantelle,” by Mr. Rowland Jackson, and excerpts from “The Student Prince” and “The Blue Mazurka.” The Minster Singers will contribute concerted and solo vocal numbers.
