DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC

COLLAPSE AT NAPIER Press Association. NAPIER, To-day. Mrs. Elizabeth Steevens, wife of Mr. G. C. J. Steevens, registrar of electors for the Napier district, died at Xapic*r yesterday. Death took place while deceased was under an anaesthetic. At an inquest Ijeld this morning, a verdict was returned that death was due to heart failure during an operation, everything possible being done by the doctors present.
