DAIRY PRODUCTION
INCREASED OUTPUT From August G, 1927, to June 6, 1928, the Ohura Valley Co-operative Dairy Company received 274,3331 b. of butterfat and 328,2681 b. of butter was made. This is an increase of 18 per cent, over the output of ths previous season. The whole output was sold on consignment, and sales made it possible to pay out 1.535 d. a lb. more than last season. The average net payment to suppliers was 13.968 d., and the directors recommend a further payment of a bonus of 2Jd a lb on butter-fat supplied. Taking into account the cost of cartage and
