Bank of N.Z. Selling

THE market has a brighter tone and considerable business has been recorded. Bank of New Zealand are selling freely at t>os 3d, leaving the market unchanged.

Bank securities are firm. pank of New South Wales are exceedingly firm, buyers quoting at £SO ss, no sellers appearing. Bank of New Zealand are in demand and selling freely. Union of Australia have steady buyers at £ls 2s, sellers £ls ss.

Insurance are v ry firm, National, New Zealand and South British being most sought after on ’Change. Auckland Gas are selling at 23s 2d, leaving the market unchanged. Shipping shares are steady, Devonport Ferry, Huddart-Parker and Northern Steamship are very firm. A sale was transacted in the latter at 14a 9d this morning, leaving further

buyers at 14s 6d, sellers 14s 9d. Waihi scrip is selling freely at 12s lid. Mount Lyell Mining and Railway are steady with buyers 355, sellers 365.
