TUNNEY’S CONTRACT
END OF FABULOUS PURSES (United Service) i Reed. 11.43 a.m. VANCOUVER, Fri. Gene Tunney has already signed a contract with Tex Richard for the next year. The terms call for a fixed percentaage, instead of a flat guarantee. This means that the days of fabulous purses are ended, unless boxers can Iraw them through the gates. Tunney realises that his hold upon jash customers will be enhanced considerably if he disposes of Heeney J by a knock-out, and that must come within five or six rounds, if at all.
