Spencer was this morning admitted by Mr. Justice MacGregor as a solicitor of the Supreme Court on the motion of Mr. R. D. Boyes. Major D. B. Blair, New Zealand Staff Corps, has been posted to the retired list with the rank of lieutenant-colonel, announces yesterday’s “Gazette.” Sir George Fenwick, of Dunedin, who lias been staying in Auckland, returned South last evening.
