ELLIS GOES UP ONE WAIMATE HUNT RESULTS Press Association. WAIMATE, Thursday. The Waimate Hunt steeplechase meeting was held in fine but cold weather before a fair attendance. The course was in excellent condition. The totalisator investments were £5,732 10s, against £6,409 10s last year. Results were: Bluecliffs Steeplechase, 2.1 miles.—4 W. Parson’s Gold Town, 11.0, E. Won by a neck; ten lengths separating second and third. Time, 4.39.
