OHAKUNE PRESENTATIONS
A social was tendered at the residence of Mr. Mills, at Rangataua, y> Mr. Jack Bagge, of the staff of tbc Rangataua railway workshops. Mr.
Bagge, who is leaving for a holiday at Norfolk Island, was vert* popek; among his fellow workmates. Songs and musical items were tnxn during the evening, and Mr. Begt* was presented with a silver cigarette caso and holder.
A splendid function took place ia til© Waimarino Silver Band’s room, when Mr. C. Gordon was presents with a set of cutlery, on the occiuupi of his recent marriage. In makit: the presentation Bandmaster P. Wood spoke in eulogistic terms regarding Mr. Gordon’s work as a bandsman.
