Canon Taylor Faces Eleven Grave Charges

Thomas Feilde.n Taylor, aged 49, was charged this morning on 11 counts of indecent assaults on males ranging in age from 14 to 16. The offences were alleged to have been committed on June 24, 1927, and in April, 1928. on the eve o£ appearing- to answer these charges in May last, accused met with a serious accident, lie has since been in hospital. To-day he was wheeled into court in an invalid chair. On the application of the Crown the court was cleared.
