(United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) (United Service) Received 11 a.m. VANCOUVER, Wednesday. FROM now on, there will be nothing hut fast work with light-weight fighters, for Tom Heeney, New Zealand contender for the world’s heavy-weight championship. This is the verdict of the directors of the New Zealander’s camp. To-day they added an injunction against his habit of consuming two bottles of ale daily. “ And it was such good ale, too,” mourned Heeney, recalling that it was specially sent to his camp for the training period. . Jim Braddock, weighing 12st 21b, and Jim Lawless, ldst 81b, tmth rated as hard-hitters, could not slow up Heeney during the day’s training. He came tearing in for more all the time. “ Hitting him is like taking a sock at the side of a building. Now I understand why he has never been knocked off his feet,” said Lawless.
