WITH THE BOY SCOUTS

Pointed Quiver, of the First Gordon troop, writes: “On July 6, our Scoutmaster held a Leaders’ and Seconds’ meeting to elect a leader for a new patrol. We will hear next meeting which member has been appointed. “Our library contains about 52 books and Scoutmaster Stralen is adding more. At present Patrol Leader T. Wyatt is making a library cupboard. “Several members of the troop are attending St. John Ambulance classes as, in a few weeks, they hope to pass the test for First Aid.

“In the troop there are 23 scouts and three patrols—the Bulldog, Kiwi and Eagle. There are four new recruits and more are waiting to join.”
