ROWING CLUB DANCE
An enjoyable evening was spent on Monday at the Foresters’ Hall, when a dance was held by the Devonport Rowing Club. The hall was decorated by the committee, Mesdames Wrigley, Morris, Rutland, Farquharson and Macduff, and Messrs. Seagar, Sharpe. Rutland and Farquharson. Enjoyable music was provided by the Kit Kat Band, and Miss Eileen Casey and Mr. Roy Broadie, pupils of the Margo - O’Connor Embassy Ballroom Studio, gave a clever exhibition of the new slow fox-trot.
Later, by special request. Miss Katli - leen O’Connor and Mr. Arthur Scott gave an exhibition of the Yale Blues.
