MT. EDEN PRESBYTERIANS

ANNUAL CHURCH MEETING Although it was stated at the annual meeting of the Mount Eden Presbyterian Church last evening that the financial position was not as good as last year, a flesire was expressed to proceed with the erection of a parish hall. The present hall under the church would then be used as a classroom. A site adjacent to the church had been selected, and offers amounting to £IOO to form the nucleus of a building fund were received. The Sunday school and social organisations reported a good year. The following retiring members were re-elected to the management committee: Messrs. J. E. Haywood, S. P. Montgomery and J. M. Murdoch. Four new members are: Messrs. F. A. Irvine, R. H. Lymburn, D. G. Bissett and H. Young.
